Registration is now open for adult 2023 English as a Second Language (ESL) to be held Tuesday evenings 7:00 PM OR Wednesday morning 10:00 AM. You may elect to do classes in-person at the library or online via zoom. The classes are free and open to all. Tuesday class starts September 19, 2023 and Wednesday class starts September 20, 2023.

Literacy NJ Monmouth: This organization offers private, one-on-one tutoring and group conversation classes for ESL and basic literacy students residing in Monmouth County. They are offering virtual tutoring (either one-on-one or in a virtual class setting) of English as a Second Language: conversation, reading and writing basics. Open to adults 18 years and older. You can also go to https://literacynj.org/monmouth-student-application and fill out the student application. Once they receive the application, they will get in touch with you to arrange an orientation and then match you with a tutor or put you in a virtual class.
